Biography

Chenyan Zhang was born in China in 1997. He received the BSc degree in Electrical Engineering from China University of Mining and Technology in 2019 and the MSc degree in Microelectronics Engineering from the Delft University of Technology in 2022.  In his MSc thesis project, he designed a high-performance analog crystal filter for a mixed-signal multi-mode crystal oscillator.

He is currently working towards his Ph.D. degree in the Section Bioelectronics of the Microelectronics Department of the Delft University of Technology. His project is to study the effects of focused ultrasound on the lipid bilayer and on the gating of single ion channels. His research interest is high-performance amplifier design for biomedical devices and systems.
