Magnetic neurostimulation

Johan Meyer and Leon Abelmann are trying to miniaturize magnetic neurostimulation (same principle as transcranial magnetic stimulation). The common models to calculate threshold potentials, using cable models, do not capture the effects arising from electric fields generated by time varying magnetic fields. Your task will be to develop and implement physically more realistic model using finite element modelling. We expect these calculation to be computationally intensive, so we will probably run on the DelftBlue supercomputer.
